AirTN call 01/2013 closed

AirTN closed the transnational call for proposals 01/2013 the last 15th of October, 2013. The number of countries participating in the proposals has increased with respect to the call 01/2012, including Norway and US as third countries. The AirTN Board, including the involved countries, is delighted with the result of the call. The proposals will now be evaluated.

AirTN Aviation education at INAIR 2013 conference

Reflecting necessity of having an educated and well trained work force available to the aeronautical sector (as defined by the ACARE Strategic Research Agenda) the INAIR 2013 conference will address topics like Aviation education and Flight training. More specifically, a current issues of updating curricula in line with fast changing market requirements will also be discussed. By inviting industry, academia and schools the INAIR 2013 conference focuses also on renewal of interest in education the Aeronautic field.

AirTN opens Transnational Call for Proposals

1 July 2013
AirTN opens the 2nd Transnational Call for Proposals in 2013 Funding of Cooperative R&D Projects in Aeronautics. The AirTN Call 01/2013 opens on 1 July, 2013. Deadline for submission will be 15 October 12:00 CET, 2013. The submission of proposals via the AirTN website will be possible from 1st September on. More detailed information is available at the call page.

Evaluation of the AirTN call 01/2012

The evaluation of the AirTN call 01/2012 has been finished. Projects for a total volume of almost 2 MEuro have been positively evaluated and have got the AirTN quality label.

The Air-TN Forum Enabling and promising technologies for achieving the goals of Europe's Vision Flightpath 2050 is held on 26-27 September 2013 at Cranfield University, UK. Flightpath 2050 has set a Vision of ATS for 2020, 2035 and 2050. Predict the long term future is difficult if not impossible but the driving idea is to shape as far as we can the ATS future having a vision and developing breaking through technologies capable of making possible this vision. AirTN Call 01/2012 closed

4 October 2012
There was a great interest in the transnational AirTN Call 01/2012 from industry, research establishment, and academics. It has been closed for submissions on 24 September. The AirTN Board, including the involved countries Austria, Ireland, Spain, and Sweden, is delighted with the result of the call in terms of the volume of submitted proposals. The proposals will now be evaluated. In parallel, AirTN will evaluate the submission phase of this call to learn for future transnational calls.

Ireland joined the open first transnational call
