AirTN NextGen Final Network Meeting & Workshop

What is AirTN NextGen?
AirTN NextGen (www.airtn.eu) is a network of national ministries and agencies of several EU Member States, which are involved in aviation research and innovation. It is co-funded as a support action under the 7th Research Framework Programme of the EU. AirTN NextGen aims to stimulate transnational cooperation in research and innovation, research infrastructure related activities, and education related activities in areas of aeronautics and air transport. AirTN NextGen contributes to strengthen and widen the aviation network established under previous AirTN activities to reach out towards transnational activities in aviation within Horizon 2020, the EU Research Framework Programme for Research & Innovation.
What are the Workshop Objectives?
The primary objective of the workshop is to present and share the knowledge, information, facts and figures gained during the AirTN NextGen runtime on best practices for transnational cooperation, research infrastructure and educational related activities and to discuss on future cooperation possibilities. Lessons learnt, best practise and future initiatives will be discussed.
Who are the target groups for this Workshop?
The target participants for this Workshop are representatives working in the field of aviation related research & innovation and its funding from Member States, associated countries, transport and education (or other relevant) ministries, funding agencies, ACARE*national mirror groups, regional governments and clusters in the field of aviation (e.g. aeronautics and air transport).
